While walking and talking, they also hold guns for no particular reason? Cause if so, cool !

Well that makes me more intrigued.

The whole 'Jenna is finding it hard to be honest' thread of the story only really became prominent in those final scenes with Lacey and Matty, so I am assuming it will be expanded upon in the upcoming episodes.

If I ever want to put on a Homme's related album, it will most often be 'Welcome To Sky Valley'. Friggin Gardenia has to be one of the best opening songs of all time, and from there on out the album keeps it up.

Painful, but it has me kind of hooked into Jenna's story in a way I probably never have been with the show (though I thoroughly enjoyed season 1 and parts of 2).

You picked the 3 show's I'm going to follow/try to post on, therefore you win awesome points along with TV Club!

For romance, 'The One with the Prom Video'
For EMOtions done right 'The One with the Morning After'
For joy and laughs 'The One with the Embryo's' (I'd accept a lot of episodes from the first 5 seasons though)

Ah I should have read further down, this says a lot of what I was thinking, but better. Nice job!

To me I'm really relating to a lot of what Jenna is going through, on an emotional level. Jenna seems really mixed up, and the added emotional intensity of high school is probably going to lead to some awful mistakes.

Awkward. is quietly becoming my second favourite comedy so far this year. Nathan For You taking number 1 spot. There is probably half a dozen shows that could take second, but Awkward. just keeps impressing me week after week that I think it can have the spot.

@avclub-7b1c718f91de50d902e00762ad5cac28:disqus well he was clearly choked to the point of passing out. So teaching someone a lesson that way is only going to make you look like the crazy one. And so once he is passed out, Daniel then, at best, drops Teddys pants and pours coffee on his butt. A strong point was made,

Yeah if Internet-fueled anticipation is the reason I don't enjoy the new Arrested Development episodes, I would actually consider that a personal flaw.

I'll put it on the list then, cool. Taking a break now, Palau was a great one to finish on for my marathon. I think Amazon or Tocantins will be my next anyway.

Yep pretty much.
Glad to hear Steph and Bobby-John came back, but am yet to see their next season (although even Ian refers to it as one of the weaker seasons).

Slow, internal and contemplative, but not depressing in the 'I'm getting mopey over this show.' It's a real pretty show to look at (great directing), a redemptive tale in some ways too (although it's more complicated than that too), and it has many moments that as  @qtothed:disqus says are life-affirming.

@avclub-af8127a980a98471f696a5a395b9088d:disqus Punchable face people still don't deserve sexual assault. And he seems like a weaselly guy sure, but also a guy who cares for his wife, father and step-mother, so seeing something that brutal happen to him did hurt. And how lost and dejected he looked afterwards only

"That boy ain't right" is one of my favourite Jeff quotes.
I think Brandon going over the cuckoo's nest lost him a comrade in his alliance, so I wonder what it would have changed if that had not happened. Next time I see him playing pretty similarly actually. Maybe making one noticeable move as that swing vote, so he

I was just a bit upset at how little we got to know of his game and bonds he formed out there. At this point I also highly doubt he gets asked back, they just didn't care for him this season.

Erik's joy at just being out there (I think he mentions how he'd never been on much of a holiday in his life) is a lot of fun to watch. That was obviously missing this season, but hey it might have been there we just barely got to see him.
