Better Than the Pilot
This episode took what was started in the first episode and ran with it. It was much more palatable with hardly any eye-rolling, overblown music and special effects, and was a very intriguing 44 minutes of television. I think the pilot would have been better if it too had only been an hour

I still think it could have been re-interpreted and re-imagined, it doesn't have to follow the Bible story faithfully. McShane is too good for Kings
Just finished watching the pilot. I may watch a couple more episodes but it's not looking good. I was NOT swept away by the dramatic music or the heavy-handed, cheesy butterfly ending. I thought it would have been more interesting if King Silas had invented that story about being
