You take that back!

Because @avclub-41dd5a7f2ec5e4868d65cf2b9a2f83fe:disqus this is a band that made a stone classic out of an album they entitled I and Love and You.

I think you must mean the Dave Matthews Band  @avclub-b6f1a008f4630c05bd9ea573f34ff380:disqus . And if you did I agree whole heartedly.

I hear they're breaking out some minor 7th chords this time…

This may be true, but I still love the hell out of Howl. Even Billy Crystal can't ruin it for me.

I think everybody who's ever seen it was surprised. Damn if it doesn't hold up to repeat viewings too. Along with Pee Wee's Big Adventure one of the movies to have when you have little ones because you can watch it over and over and not go crazy.

Something about Hal Douglas.

A golden trailer is what rednecks think Saint Peter lives in.

They did an inventory of great trailers in my hometown. They called it the "Parade of Doublewides."

Mike, by "odious" perhaps he meant "having the characteristics of Odie" and thereby dumb but funny. I gotta tell ya it always slays me when Garfield pushes him off the table!!

Fred Melamed* was awesome in A Serious Man.

Werner would like that movie. It would show the inherent pointlessness of trying to defy nature. By making a movie with a mna who is nicknamed "The White Rat." And has been dead since 1979.

Was all of your high school in Dexy's Midnight Runners?

Maeby, I'm an eel.

Sea Thomas Howell thinks Lake is a fine first name.

1988. And I'm wearing bifocals right now!

I'm afraid to disagree with someone named Battleground.

I always get the 97 version of The Borrowers confused with MouseHunt, which I think is a much better movie. And it has Christopher Walken.

Keep in mind that the British-voiced version has one serious drawback:

Uh-oh…gotta sing the Totoro theme song now!
