Yes I'm late to this party but I can't not share my MST-ie story.

Do people like The Verve? I actually quite enjoy the 6 minute feedback solo at the end of A Northern Soul.
Just dropped in to make sure Soma got mentioned somewhere. In the encyclopedia of my mind, "guitar solo" has a picture of the Siamese Dream cover next to it.
I like it. I've been reading too much stuff on the internet lately and this will help keep me on task and away from AV Club when I should be working.
One thing I've always found interesting is when someone starts using 1984 to describe the current government, is that they're usually this guy: http://www.theonion.com/art…
It's been mentioned on literally every other story about these copyright take-down things, but they might not actually care. They mostly want to set a legal precedent in case of future litigation protecting their intellectual rights.
I've wanted someone to use the line "I'm black like TwoFer" in a rap song.
The day I saw a kid half my age wearing the same Nirvana t-shirt I had in high school was my first "fuck 90s nostalgia" moment.
Somehow "I appreciate X on a deeper level than you" is far more aggravating (when spoken seriously) than the idea that some people are watching a TV show "wrong."
How can anyone have strong feelings about Kinkade fella, positive or negative? His paintings are blander than plain oatmeal with a side of water.
I would really like to see this. I watched How to die in Oregon (woohoo homestate!) and found it both fascinating and difficult to watch. Hopefully it'll be on Netflix soon-ish.
Read "Mathematics: The Loss of Certainty". I'm not sure why, but it gave me some perspective on the issue. But skip the last few chapters where the author blathers about how algebraic topology is a waste of time.
Wow. That is not as dire of a list as I thought.
My fiancée has put Foux du Fafa on our wedding playlist. I said she can do that only if I can add "The Most Beautiful Girl in the Room".
Yes! You get it.
I've loved candy corn since i was a kid, when I used them as tiny traffic cones while playing with matchbox cars (and then ate them).
Agreed. Definitely my favorite track.
I am so happy this ended up being a pretty good record. I was worried we'd get an hour's worth of "Reflektor" (the song) which, while being a fine song, is too disco-y for a song that long.
That was my first reaction to the song Reflektor when that first was released. Somehow the length of the songs don't bother me at all; in fact when I listen to the entire album it doesn't feel that long at all.
I watched 2/3 of the Coleman Francis trilogy yesterday, and now I'm seriously considering a career in the Industrial Arts!
