Ponderooooooooosa piiiiine

Is The Following a big thing, though? This is an awful long essay to make a point about one show that's been on for less than half a season. It even goes out of its way to point out how many other shows deal with violence so much better than this one example.

Every kid got their own loaf! Third graders are easily excited by stupid, trivial gifts. We'd have been excited by a free box from the box factory.

The big field trip when we were in elementary school was a trip to the local white bread bakery. They gave us a loaf of white bread to take home!

SP is defunct? They used to have a major switching yard in my hometown. Also, my mom said working for SP was the worst job she ever had.

There are records that exist in a very specific time and place, and I think Give Up is one of those records for me.

I enjoyed both Narrow Stairs and Codes & Keys, but not as much as I enjoyed Give Up and Transatlanticism ten years ago. Meh. Guess my tastes have just changed.

I don't think the Postal Service has aged very well. It was great when I was a college sophomore, ten years later it sounds kinda silly to me.

Edit: replied to the wrong guy. Still, I'm going to listen to the track before paying for it.

I'm often surprised that Trailer Park Boys don't get mentioned more often.

I'd consider a "slickly produced pop record" the very definition of YES OPTIONAL.

Oddly enough, I associate Zoolander with my old roommate who would sell his plasma to make rent, and my other later roommate who worked at said plasma center.

The Dean's evolution mirrors how I think Community has gone off the rails.

"I remember when this show used to be about Community College."

I would have loved it in a different show or as a season finale earlier on in the series run. But in the context of the final season of the show, it was very out of place.

Just to clarify to anyone who hasn't seen LOST: no, they weren't. Except for that one season..

That would be Infinite Jest for me and my friends. We keep on stalling out every hundred pages or so.

ACHEWOOD is hell of good.
