There are shirts ment to be worn without a jacket, those are usually rather short. Traditional shirts are much longer and usually stay tucked in. If that doesn't work buy slim fit in oversize. Have them hemmed if they fit awkward at the sleeves or waist.

That allways bugs me. Just because a movie or other piece of art doesn't appeal to you doesn't mean it has no merit. Other people see different things in art than you do. Maybe the director intendet to convey something in a way you don't see or get. That doesn't mean it isn't there. Just that it isn't there for you.
