I thought it was reported on here that Kanye was actually secretly scheduled for that show, where they would throw him in as a joke, but then clear the air and be all cool and shit and racism would finally die.

Us animators act like he's the new antichrist, taking Michael Eisner's place. The last three films he did could have easily been animated, but he's all hung up on the mo-cap, and is thus putting us out of work.
The reason he loves mo-cap oh-so much is that he really wants to stick with live action, but HATES working…
