I must have missed the part where the cure can only be used once and by one vampire.  I also missed a few episodes….what happened to the other Original Vampires?

I know we have to suspend belief to make these shows work.  In real life, if I'm a bar owner in trouble I'd reach out to my rich friends Emily and/or Nolan — they have the money and power to make those problems go away.  far away.

Found it a little hard to believe someone would be desparate enough to kill a child ONE week after the power went out.  Even if someone would make the threat, what is the end game?  Kill the child and hope the parent is so grief stricken she doesn't bludgeon you with the food you're trying to steal?
