A comment!
Sean O'Neal doesn't like LCD Soundsystem or M.I.A., FYI.

Fire Starters
Spoon is…opening? For fucking Arcade fucking Fire? Spoon not only has seniority, but they also sell out places that Arcade Fire sells out, alone. Arcade Fire makes fine music, but not anywhere near Spoon's output, and the band is comprised of gravely serious assholes, where as Spoon is comprised of

Holofcener*

Holofscener, Soderbergh
The two other characters that she mentiones Keener has played that she seems to dismiss are both referencing Soderbergh movies. Keener was an "angry ex-wife" in Out of Sight and a "stuido executive" in Full Frontal.

Not Pop, Kinda Culture
These lay a bit outside the mainstream (where many, many things anger me), but the two most infuriating things I've encountered in recent years have been the Ryan Trecartin film "A Family Finds Entertainment" and the Carlos Reygada's film "Silent Light." I hate both for so many reasons, and I

Larson and Gilchrist
I've been watching since episode 1, and I keep asking myself why this season. It's always been a semi-enjoyable show, much like Weeds is, that I only tend to get around to watching when I need something before I go to bed. Not a top-priority viewing, but I've found, especially this season, how

For those of you about to rock a Thai film, I link you…(sorry)
You can see the unofficial prologue short films to Uncle Boonmee online, one for free, one for pay.

Russel Crowe is
GREENBERG

Oh yay, PJ
This is pretty damned awesome.

Letters to the Human Centipede
I'm guessing Amanda Seyfried is the front of the Centipede?

Coogans
As one of the 4 people in the theater on the Wednesday night after it opened, I have to say I enjoyed it quite a lot. It's a really servicable comedy, not one you'd rewatch per say, but one that gets the job done, and those are in some what rare order these days. Coogan is brilliant, always, and it would be a

The Coppolas
I have to take umbrage with the dismissal of Francis Ford Coppol and Nicolas Cage.

Well it doesn't help when Tobias clearly didn't give a shit IN the interview and confirmed in on the twitter thing by "tweeting" something to the effect of "You think your job is hard, try thinking up questions for Justin Long. Lolorz #YouveBeenTobiased"

Greenest of the Screens
I'm sure someone else has mentioned it, but fuck was that greenscreen at the dump awful. The show has flirted with terrible greenscreening before (Michael outside of corporate a season or two back was awful), but this one was terrible. Given the nature of the show and how everything is handheld

Do The Bite Thing
There was a period a few years ago where I saw Do The Right Thing for the first time and then re-watched it for enjoyment and then eventually to write a paper on it, and there is never a viewing where I don't crave a slize of Pizza on wax paper.

And Stephen Dorff is the lead in Sofia Coppola's next movie, so it looks like being in a Uwe Boll movie must not be a career killer because no one sees them.

These are Jokes
Only listened to it once, but I really loved Demetri Martin's These Are Jokes when I heard it a few years ago. (Which I believe I downloaded (sorry Demetri) after reading his A.V. Club interview, which remains one of my favorite interviews ever.)

It's a damn solid rule.

It's true!
It's not neccesarily a way of avoiding things since you won't know until you're there, but I have proven that ANY movie that starts with a helicopter shot of a city will be bad.

Before I clicked
I thought it was going to be Karma Police. Because that would have worked too, but this works good.
