Ah, we've had quite a year…
What are you talking about, it's May.

Park Chan Who?
I know it came from Cannes, but that picture "from Thirst," I'm 99% sure is from Oldboy. Even the NY Times has it up.

It was supposed to come out in October, then December, then January, and then finally, now in May.

As the Mayans say…
I think perhaps when she says "death is the road to all," she might actually have said "death is the road to awe," since that's the line used in the movie and they sound alike (especially when factoring in her accent.) Check the tapes…

Oh what a wonderful feelin'
This is an incredibly well written piece. Particularly the stretch after the introduction and before the first clip.

Go fuck yourself.

Way to fuck with Colbert…
Now what reason will Colbert have for hilarious tirades on the Emmys and on his own show, culminating in always great-duets with venerated singers and songwriters?!

Could this…
…have anything to do with Nielsen ratings fucking up last week and not being able to report?

This Awful Revolution
You're not wrong about "This Revolution." I'd read a festival piece Ebert wrote about the movie, talking more about Rosario Dawson's intelligence in person than the film, but something as alive and politically aware starring an actress I really liked sounded like it could be good. Then I forgot

Yeah that should be Wendt.

Wheel of Wendt
My favorite role of his is probably his stint on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" as "George Wednt." Granted, his character didn't have as satisfactory an end as "Alec Baldwin," but I enjoyed the arc his character had.

That's an excellent film.

Here's an awful new promo (with surprises!) for the creatively titled "The Jay Leno Show"

If you look at the publisher website, click on Rabin's name, and go to author appearances, they list a few dates in July in Chicago and Milwaukee.

I'd disagree that knowing everything about a comedy before hand wouldn't take anything away from it. So much of what's initally funny about something the surprise.

Yummish, how's 1:49?

I know only one other person who shares my Ocean's 12 enthusiasm, and he does not happen to be one its creators.

I was just talking about the possiblity of the beloved actor who may or may not be playing Jack's supposedly rumored real father. Maybe.

THANKS FOR THE SPOILERS!

Oh, ho ho, I see now where these references are coming from. How deliciously wicked! Spot on!
