I was so happy; thought this was the best episode of the season so far, and couldn't wait until the next two episodes when everything would resolve. Then I realised this was the season finale, and now I'm very deflated.

The 2012 The Thing wasn't bad at all. well, okay, the CGI was pretty poor. But the script was okay for four fifths of the movie … and, y'know, Mary Elizabeth Winstead is great … aw damn, the script was poor wasn't it?

I just watched this tonight. It's almost three hours, but took me over four hours to watch because I had to keep pausing to marvel at how insane the whole thing is. It's a big weird mess of a movie, but it's fascinating, and it contains one of the all time great Yo Momma jokes.

So this isn't the spin-off movie from Dredd?
