Only issue 1 is $5.99. After that they go to $4.99. Which is still expensive but whadda gonna do? The first issue was a marketing mistake: over priced and not putting its best material forward.

Plus Miracleman will have dirty, icky things in it. Marvelman can be all squeaky clean and fresh and new when he's introduced in the Marvel Universe in a few years.

The first four issues will cost $20.96 as single issues while the collection will be $29.99. Though Amazon is taking orders of it at $21.77 which is still more than the single issues.

What's dumb about the $5.99 price is that issue two (out tomorrow) will be $4.99 with more of the content people actually want. I understand they wanted to put out a nice package that respects everyone who came before them but I don't think this was the best way to introduce the material to a new audience. The issues

Hah! I never even thought "comics." Thanks for pointing that out.

Wossamotta U star players Rocky and Bullwinkle led their team through some pretty crazy football game too including going up against the Mud City Manglers in The Big Game.

SLAP!

What did they do together? The only other thing I see is an attempt to make a Buffy cartoon show. What did I miss?

Uh-huh.

If you've got time, here's a good write up on the problems with Long Halloween (http://goodcomics.comicbook…. And like @avclub-62af1842466b5ac58fef328be0acadf6:disqus pointed out, Loeb writes his stuff in the same way, it's usually a mystery with clues that make no sense and lots of unrelated busy work that

Loeb's there because Marvel likes him. Comic publishers have always been desperate to get anyone with some fame outside of comics to slum it with them. Like J. Michael Straczynski, the companies like to tout that the creator of Babylon 5 is writing for them, a show that ended 15 years ago.

I was just on their website and saw that they ran a poll "
What would you pay to view 10 High Def Ghost Cams in the Lizzie Borden House?" The most votes went to the lowest price. There was no option for "A Ghost Cam? Who is honestly going to watch this let alone pay a monthly fee for it?"

I first heard of Lizzie Borden a few months before Treehouse of Horror IV (10/28/93) when her ghost fought the Avengers in Avengers West Coast #98 (7/8/93). She was called Axe of Vengance: http://marvel.wikia.com/Lis…

Yeah, that's what I've seen too. Rick Geary did a great adaptation of the evidence in his comic The Borden Tragedy.

So, who is this guy?
Bob.
Bub?
No, no, Bob. You know, like, uh, Bob Dylan?
Oh, Bob.
Oh, Baaab!

True. More power to ya!

The fifth one is being cradled in the arms of Optimus Prime (the tallest one). The robots here are so indistinct that it's hard to tell where one ends and the other begins.

I do think the Transformers looked horrible. Not from a "my precious childhood brand loyalties" way but in a character design way. The decision to make the characters into piles of CGI fragments makes them more alien (which is a debatable goal) but less distinct.Compare five robots in the movie here: http://static3.wik

I'm skipping the Daredevil Infinite Comic as an Infinite Comic. I agree that they're too complicated and gimmicky. Eventually Marvel will put it in paper just like they did with Bendis' four Guardians of the Galaxy shorts.

This is me now!
