I love the constant pile of jokes from this show. I can't read the Stray observation quotes without coming up with the next line. Besides this example there is:"Prison has destroyed the way you talk. If that’s what it takes to impress these guys around here, then they are not your friends."

I really don't think Carey is a racist. He was happy to talk with the parking attendant until he needed to do his part of the job. Yes. The first example is a location. The second is a location AND a joke. And since this is a comedy show, given the option of including a joke vs not a joke, they will probably go the joke route.

Why does the topic of H. Jon Benjamin's voice come up each week there is a new episode? Are people unfamiliar with the fact that actors tend to do more than one project in their lifetime?

I was always annoyed when Robin did that bit about the Virginians. Because I got that joke in an email months before his show. Apparently Robin Williams knows people who forward jokes to him.
