Really? I remember people jizzing their pants about how genius and daring it was at the time. I think people ended up forgetting about that after the refractory period passed and MBDTF came out.

There's a lot of filler on the second disc, but those two tracks are favorites of mine. The one thing that's always true is that writing down the names of 2pac tracks makes you feel like an idiot ("Ambitionz Az A Ridah", seriously).

The Breen outfit: cool, yeah, but definitely a ripoff.

(a) Eat me. (b) You have disgraced the good name of Zorak.

"Maybe in a few days." That fucking nails it for me.

The best part of that is that it's the first thing Dukat does after deciding, in "Waltz", that he's going to destroy the Bajorans. So it's like he's going down his rolodex and Kira comes up and he says "hey, wait, I nailed her mom."

@gloriana232:disqus Second Ziyal's only episode is the one that starts the Ziyal/Garak thing, and she doesn't look much older than First Z. Which is why they decided to recast her again for Third Z.

Vicky can bust out her ukelele and play "The President's A Communist" and "Look Out, A Black" whenever they need a musical guest.

The change in ownership gave TW a contractual option to drop the network, and nobody fucking watches Current. It's a business decision, although I wouldn't be surprised if they're also willing to be seen as rejecting the Forces of Dusky Evil.

Let's see a cite.

No kidding. Little girls' clothes and toys are oppressively pink anymore, but even worse is the boys' stuff, which is basically a condensed physical manifestation of a Burger King ad.

@Patrick_Batman:disqus But the entire goal is to feel like you've been face-fucked by the Licorice Man. Because anise is delicious.

"it'd be like if someone today told you they were hacking corporate computers because they were carrying on the work of Wat Tyler or the Jacquerie"

Ah, I love the Vorta in "The Ship". The one in "By Inferno's Light" is just kind of there (although sufficiently callous) and the one in "One Little Ship" and "Honor Among Thieves" is probably the weakest one.

Ron Moore says he was replaced before "Rapture", which means he performed surgery on Sisko in that episode and was involved in working with the baby changeling in "The Begotten".
I

They replaced her before they aged her up, but I do like First Ziyal a lot, and I thought Second Ziyal did a pretty good job in "For The Cause". Those are the three best Ziyal appearances. Third Ziyal is fine — I don't think she's given as interesting stuff to do, is the thing.

You know, I've heard people seriously make that argument about black slaves, and that's bad enough.

@avclub-83adc9225e4deb67d7ce42d58fe5157c:disqus The adoration of the Founders as gods seems to be bred much more strongly into the Vorta than the Jem'Hadar.
