@GhaleonQ:disqus OK, my least favorite thing about him is that he proposed a budget that cuts spending while also increasing the deficit. That's irresponsible and dishonest, and it seems like something a genuine conservative would not like.

I always appreciated RATM at the very least for being the single odd example of mass-market leftism in the US, even if it was a pretty crappy '90s college campus leftism.

Which Trek movies were ponderous and didactic other than TMP and maybe V? II, IV, VI are all pretty action-packed, and First Contact, Insurrection, and Nemesis had plenty of shooting and things blowing up real good and not a lot of Talking and Understanding.

The "records" of the changelings are in the Great Link, and presumably the first changelings to join the Great Link were originally solids. The changelings are obviously able to share thoughts and memories with their offspring — that's how Odo managed to find his way back. There's definitely some kind of racial memory…
I enjoyed Star Trek '09 as a space adventure, although I thought the plot was pretty weak and the villain was underwhelming. And that both Kirk and Spock were somewhat annoyingly smug. Nimoy was great, and obviously I liked the little nerd shoutouts, but I felt they spent so much time setting up the "alternate…
