I'm guessing this is only prime-time? I would expect daytime TV to have a much larger presence here otherwise.

It's kinda of a spoiler - not from any advanced knowledge but from watching the credits - but the actor who played the younger guy did appear in the main credits, so he will probably play into the whole story in some way.

He was one of the nicer people in Newsroom.

The fact that those people were not exactly innocent bystanders probably helps too.

Upvoted for rightly placing Critical Role ahead of Blindspot.

Probably. I assume many people with gimmick accounts also have normal accounts.

Newsroom wasn't great, but he was always quietly good in it.

I really loved Flashpoint.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am that this story didn't bring @Rappin' Jake Sisko out of retirement.

And Mosley. Don't forget Mosley.

The book takes place in a universe where super powers are common and a special prison exists that has customized restraints for specific prisoners and power nullifying technology.
The series takes place in the MCU where powers are much newer and less common and there is no infrastructure in place to handle super
