there was a time prior to the special editions where it had fallen a little off the radar, there were a few games out but the movies themselves weren't on TV or available all over. I had the first set of VHS that came out in the early 90s? late 80s?. so there was a gap for a few years with less star wars.

Han did say "hokey religions and ancient weapons" so the religion was hokey but not necessarily ancient to him. Just the Light Saber was.

i was grounded for the special editions. I used to be mad about that but now I'm not so sure. Would've at least liked to have seen ANH and ESB in theaters.
