I really need to listen to Nuttwerx because I sort of stopped caring about where they were going for a while.

Wait, did Lost seriously have a clear path to the end — like they actually knew where that story was going and the ending point?

I own that documentary but have only watched it once. If I remember correctly, someone in the Fishbone camp wasn't happy about the way the doc was pitched to them and the resulting product. It's cool to get a little closer to your idols, but it's a bit depressing some times.

Fishbone is a 4-5 minute song kind of band (look at the track times on the previous two albums before Monkey), but yeah I could see someone feeling that Monkey had too many long songs on it. It's an album where they seem to stretch out a little more and keep jamming along.

The best thing is he didn't really call the president Hitler. But it's safe to assume he meant the bad guys in the comparison are the democrats, therefore the Nazis. Though I'm not sure because people like him usually hate Jews as well. He made a ridiculous analogy, and then couldn't explain his way out of it, and…

Fuck yes. There's variety there even though critics said it's too metal/heavy — but that's just an impression gleaned off the first few tracks. Also, I saw them on that tour a few times. I'm sad that I never got to see the complete original line-up with Kendall, because he'd left by that point.
