The Locas collection is great. My only concern is it's be really annoying to map whatever collection they covered to the collections I own.

Yeeeeaaaahhhh. Um… No.

Yeeeeaaaahhhh. Um… No.

You missed my all-time favorite, "N-Sub Ulysses" by the Nation of Ulysses:

This is probably the anti-judder effect cited by Hypnotoad. It makes beautiful films look like telenovelas, somehow.

What is your definition of "real time" such that four years of production and 46 episodes of television are equivalent to "about a year and a half"?

"I find the pastrami to be the most sensual of all the salted cured meats."

"Oh, no no no…no more banks. I'm keeping my blood in my freezer with…my money!"

"Is it just me, or does this make Brent kind of a sadistic asshole?"

Sure, there weres some duds, but 2011 included some of TAL's all-time best episodes: "Original Recipe" (about reverse-engineering Coca-Cola), "Very Tough Love" (about an out-of-control drug court judge), "When Patents Attack!" and "The Incredible Case of the P.I. Moms".

Shut your pie hole!

That would devolve into Lewis Black's awful courtroom show… The secret strength of Judge John Hodgman is that he's really quite earnest about talking to regular people and offering them sound advice.

P.S. Thin White Duke: _I_ am Hodgman's #1 superfan. We'll have to have a nerd-off.

Hodgman is definitely hampered by working with non-professional guests, who sometimes don't show up prepared to argue their own position. But he can usually keep things moving, as long as they'll shut up long enough to let him be funny.

Phew. I thought we weren't going to make it there for a while.

A trope is not necessarily a bad thing.

Brothers is catchy, but the verses have this strange structure that doesn't make any sense until you realize it's written to be dovetailed with "Our World." That was a bit of a cheat.
