The original comment was about how Darryl was not that racist and I was commenting on that, not its contribution to his character development. You do raise a good point though.

Could be about the disintegration of the community that they had in the first episode. It's an interesting twist too because everyone is technically in one place (because they have to be) but all these things are ripping the group apart from inside the prison…as opposed to being ripped from outside. :P

I like Darrly, but he did call Glenn "Chinaman" in the fourth episode or something. He was never as bad as his brother though.
