There's a nice version of "O Holy Night" (one of my favorite carols) on the Glee Christmas album. I was hoping that would make an appearance on the show, but nope. I also would have loved to hear a gospel version of any Christmas carol performed by Mercedes and her church choir.

Will and Emma singing Challengers? Or Adventures in Solitude?

99 cents for a rental is pretty good, but right now Apple only has agreements with Fox and ABC. And you can watch a lot of Fox and ABC shows for free (with ads) on Hulu, so I'm pretty underwhelmed by this announcement.

My absolute favorite is still Muppet Vision 3D. (And in the Magic Kingdom, I'm partial to the Peter Pan ride and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.)

The signs at my local T-Mobile are not good, Arsenio. Last weekend, they resorted to chalking the sidewalks to advertise their latest phone sale. T-Mobile is owned by a multinational telecommunications conglomerate and they can't afford some banners? Sad.

The Blockbuster by my apartment went out of business last year and I was irrationally excited about what could be moving in there next. After a long wait, a T-Mobile store appeared. I could not have been more disappointed. And there's something vaguely depressing about T-Mobile stores, or at least this one. Maybe it's

The 4G providers (Clear, Sprint and Comcast/Time Warner depending on where you live) often claim that their speeds are 10 times faster than 3G. In practice, download speeds for 4G are actually around 3-6 megabits, compared with 800 kilobits-1.2 megabits for 3G. On a rare occasion, you might get up to 10 megabits, but

The Russian girlfriend thing and chef worship thing don't exactly endear Angelo to me, but when Amanda made fun of him for saying mantras and then broke into the worst kind of mean girl hyena laughter, I kind of recoiled. She's a classy one, that Amanda.

Hey, a fellow Mee-ow Show fan! I was unhealthily obsessed with them my freshman year and caught every show. Go 'Cats indeed.

TMI, Nicole Krauss! Get a room.

Oh! Her middle name is Gay. Imogen Gay Poots.

The sentence "In the meantime, the potential actresses for Garfield to romance…" made me giggle. Also, I've never heard of either Ophelia Lovibond or Imogen Poots before now, but they both have awesome names. (I just love the name Imogen. Anyone else here read "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" when they were a kid?)

It's also Veteran's Day. Is that significant?

Where's Onion Square?

What's the better song, Yub Nub or Lapti Nek? Discuss!

I have higher hopes for Harry and Jennifer Crane to stay together, if we're looking at Mad Men couples. She knew about his one-night stand with the office secretary and they eventually worked it out, right? They don't dance nearly as well as Pete and Trudy, but they seem more honest with each other.

My brother and I got lost in a mall parking garage trying to find his car after watching Synecdoche, New York. Seeing that film made the disorientation that much weirder and more disturbing. I'm still a little traumatized, actually.

After watching that video, I'm marginally less irritated with Hans Zimmer for creating what I thought was a pretty overbearing score. Maybe the theater also had the volume cranked up too high, but I felt like I went temporarily deaf after watching Inception. (This is not good when, while walking out of the theater,

I'll enthusiastically echo the Gordon Korman praise. I was recently back at my parents' house and picked up Son of Interflux from my childhood bookshelf - still awesome! I actually wrote Gordon Korman a fan letter when I was in grade school, and he wrote me a personalized response that my mom put in a frame.

@Montypark I've never seen the show, but from commercials and billboards, it looks like there is at least one brunette waif? The blonde girl in The Town is the actress who was in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, if that helps narrow it down.
