One of my find childhood memories is watching Polka Time, with Walter Ostanek.
Not surprisingly, Florida Georgia Line rejected my lyric submission:

I guess SNL doesn't want guitar based/rock-ish bands. Seems like it's all teeny bopper/R&B/Urban stuff or… Paul Simon.
How come QOTSA, Sleater-Kinney, Bob Mould, Kurt Vile etc. haven't played? You see all these artists on the late night talk shows so why not SNL?
