Only noticed that I had a response just now, sorry. I think the "nine picture deal" is the standard agreement everyone in the MCU signs up for, whether or not they actually have nine movies planned for them.

I don't want to drop any spoilers but I think Anthony Mackie is being set up for a BIG role with the Avengers after Captain America 3.
