Strike Back has reached that point where plots and arcs and themes matter far less to me than the chemistry of the cast. It's pretty amazing (and weird!), but I totally lump this show in a group with New Girl, Happy Endings, and My Boys. It just brings such a huge goddamn smile to my face.

You could chart a pretty convincing argument of the Civil War being a required outcome of the Revolution through the refusal to deal with slavery.  Jefferson's "we have the wolf by the ear and feel the danger of either holding him or letting go" (which, you know, is funny cuz he held THE FUCK on to that wolf).

So much of episode 2 played like a tribute to Archer.  When Scott fired off the machine gun in the car chase and blew out Stonebridge's ear drums, there was some heavy Archer/Lana deja vu.

I am more excited for Strike Back's return than any other show on television, apart from a surprise second season of Terriers.

There is a some online auction site that isn't ebay that sells bootlegs.  It seems sketchy (and, I mean, it is), but the quality is OK for recorded-from-TV-in-1998 DVDs.

Seeing Paula Marshall in anything just makes me miss Cupid so. goddamn. much.
