Too late, the Broncos already experienced a Super Bowl L.

I have nothing against people who don't enjoy watching sports…if you don't like it, that's completely fine. But this sounds like something that the kind of annoying fucker who actively despises sports would watch, just for the sake of being able to walk into work on Monday and tell their coworkers that "OH SORRY I

It really is great. I'm surprised how well long form improv works in a podcast setting…it's fun to imagine the setting and characters when the visual aspect of the performance is removed. Besser himself takes a few episodes to get used to, but once you warm to his personality he becomes a fucking amazing host.

Thank you Laura.  Jesus fucking Christ, I was going to arson the shit out of the AV Club's offices if the list ended without me.

I completely agree, and finally getting a 3rd baseman would be amazing (especially since I think they've been looking since Crede left).  There will probably be some mid-to-low range years coming up, but the front office has seemed to recognize that quickly and move straight into rebuilding mode, which I like to see.

Yeah, this season has sucked.  Still, as long as they do better than the goddamned Cubs and Chris Sale stays under 3.00 ERA and/or doesn't rip his arm off during a pitch, I won't be too angry.

That's probably one of the reasons why we Sox fans loved him so much (apart from his play…he was pretty good).  He was a complete asshole, knocking Michael Fucking Barrett down just for the sake of doing so, yelling shit at other players, getting punched out and responding by amping up the crowd.  The guy seems normal

That's pretty interesting…I'm a huge Sox fan living in the Twin Cities, and whenever I go to Target Field there never really seemed to be any hatred or resentment for the Sox in the same way that I have resentment for the Cubs or Tigers.  Then again, guys like Crain and AJ were booed pretty relentlessly when they were

Holy shit, that marathon of a book.  It's the only book that made me begin to be passionate about the subject, gain a new respect for the author, and yet skip about 30 pages near the end because of the sheer amount of…stuff.

I don't know about this whole "Quiz Bowl asshole" thing in college either, @avclub-ce440cca60453c2f6eeef80b2d14710c:disqus .  I was on Minnesota's team for about a year and a half (…the D team, basically.  I was shitty at everything except for sports questions), and there was really only one complete asshole in the

Prepare yourselves, you geeky fucks are in for a ride.

And Palau.  Those fuckers always seem to be late to the party.

Adam Scott was the douche in Step Brothers?  What the shit?!?

This is going to sound awful, but that's the reason I kinda like it.

In Twitter's defense of the Chechnya/Czech Republic thing, the situation in Chechnya has generally not gotten much airtime by the American mainstream media…or non-mainstream media for that matter.  So for the average, non-political layman, Chechnya may not ring a lot of bells.

Holy shit, yes.  The night of the shootout, I saw tweets like "Twitter figured out that it was the Brown University student!  Twitter's the new journalism!"

True, we don't need to know everything immediately.  But the problem that inevitably comes up is that, in the back of our minds, we do.  We need to know, we need to know first.  And not only do we need to know, as Twitter showed when those two poor, falsely accused guys were trending fucking everywhere, we need to let

Holy sweet Jesus this is fucking beautiful.

"I’m a baseball fanatic."

I just realized Charlie Sheen played a White Soxk (what the fuck is the singular for Sox?) in Eight Men Out, and an Indian in Major League.
