And it's on Netflix streaming.

Just saw it this afternoon. It truly is a lovely movie. (Not a lot of Hagman though, but he owns his few minutes of screen time.)

As a kid I always preferred Jeannie, just because it was faster-paced, more farcical, and didn't take itself that seriously. (Jeannie was always blinking someone to the North Pole, and they never said how they got back.) And in retrospect, the cast was much better too. Bewitched always struck me as a regular domestic

I remember loving When Things Were Rotten as a kid. If they had such a thing back then, when it was cancelled I would have complained on the Internet.

First time I saw it, I thought what's the big deal. It really creeped me out the second time though. So maybe the second time's the charm.

Years ago, I read a book by William Peter Blatty, about why he wrote The Exorcist. He says he specifically wrote it to increase belief in God. Because if there's a Devil, there must be God. And in fact, the entire picture is structured that way - the Mom's an atheist, until her daughter gets possessed, then she gets a

As far as I know, it's the only daytime soap opera to be syndicated. It had a brief vogue on local stations in the late 70s, then it did the rounds of tri-state-area PBS for quite a while.
