synecdoche
no synecdoche, ny here or on the main list. unbelievable.
excellent call on the basement scene. that shit was legitimately unsettling. i cant really recall that many specific in-theater experiences with movie watching, but i'll never forget being wholly freaked out by that scene.
no age - here should be my home
strokes - 12:51
x - sex and dying in high society
white stripes - fell in love with a girl
weezer - tired of sex
sonic youth - incinerate
dead boys - sonic reducer
exploding hearts - throwaway style
campesinos - you me dancing
jesus and mary chain - april skies
i don't think i can count high enough to accurately quantify how many times i've heard this thing. it builds beautifully and the drumming is just fucking beastly, particularly at the end. what a song.
The Feelies

Why does everybody sleep on Brighten the Corners? Stereo, Shady Lane, and Embassy Row are three of the best songs they ever did. Basically every song on that album is good to unbelievably-fucking-great.
