How will we know they're not all from James McAvoy's many gimmick accounts?

What ever happened to predictability?

It may not be the cheapest conceit in all of fiction, but my pet peeve is flash-forward endings. Even if the "Six months later…" thing is used creatively, it always feels like such a cop-out to me to use that at the end. I can't entirely trust my memory, but I believe this is my first. I could never think of a Christmas subject I really wanted to write about (or knew I had enough thoughts about to fill a whole entry) before. But thank you for keeping the Advent Calendar alive so I got a chance to write an entry.

Everyone else's entries have been great. I hadn't been preparing to do one, since I couldn't think of anything Christmas-y. But after reading some of the others, I felt like I really wanted to be a part of it. I kinda had to throw mine together, but I'm glad I was finally a part of one of these Advent Calendars.
