Glad to see both of the most recent Judge John Hodgman episodes got some love. The bats episode has my vote for the second funniest episode of the show, because in my book nothing will ever top the father-son dispute over the senior's obsession with cows.
Every tv show should use the Parks & Rec opening. Best theme music in a decade!
The "classic" segments were really just for a few weeks of summer filler. Most of the episodes have featured current releases. I am a particular fan of what I consider the essay or magazine segments, where guest contributors speak on a particular subject. It really added an extra dimension to the show.

Gus's nickname
Didn't Shawn call Gus "Lodge Blackman" (as opposed to Large Blackman), which would be a winking nod to the infamous Black Lodge of Twin Peaks.
Farewell, Happy Town
You wanted so badly to be Twin Peaks, I kind of loved you for it. Even if your main character was the WORST SHERIFF OF ALL TIME.
