I'm kinda curious about New Who's Doctor's relationship with Gallifrey. 11 seemed gung-ho about saving them, to be sure, but 10 was willing to drop them back into whatever time hole they crawled out of.

I can understand some plot frustrations, but clearly this muppet wasn't paying attention if he missed the world-building.

My mom was a librarian (until taking her retirement from the city a year ago) and new management was increasingly phasing out trained librarians in favor of cheaper staff with customer service experience.

I think there's some interesting concepts, but realistically, I don't believe effects technology is really reaching the point that they can depict Superman till now. I think a Tim Burton-esque take on Brainiac could be really good, though.
