i had exactly the same feeling. It felt like a wrap-up to everything ("…and here's what happened to Bon Temps after all the madness of the events of this series") and it was only the fact I'd heard that Season 7 had been commissioned a few weeks before that made me sure it wasn't.

One thing about TB, it never gets as irritating as Dexter's later dull-as-dishwater seasons (even counting Sookie's endless Scrappy-Doo "lemme at him!" repetitions).

Don't worry T-Dog, I'm late to the party too! I know exactly what you mean - the fact that vamps do "normal" runs at all is something that really bugs me (they actually got it right with the zipping around of the vamp guards in the early scenes - why would you go slow in a vamp world?).
