i had exactly the same feeling. It felt like a wrap-up to everything ("…and here's what happened to Bon Temps after all the madness of the events of this series") and it was only the fact I'd heard that Season 7 had been commissioned a few weeks before that made me sure it wasn't.

1) Since the non-infected vamps need human blood, does that mean True Blood is no longer available? Even after 6 months?

One thing about TB, it never gets as irritating as Dexter's later dull-as-dishwater seasons (even counting Sookie's endless Scrappy-Doo "lemme at him!" repetitions).

Don't worry T-Dog, I'm late to the party too! I know exactly what you mean - the fact that vamps do "normal" runs at all is something that really bugs me (they actually got it right with the zipping around of the vamp guards in the early scenes - why would you go slow in a vamp world?).

I can't believe no-one has mentioned one of the best comedy moments in The Shield in the Dragonchasers ep. (though this whole episode is golden) - Vic's double-take as he turns on the interrogation room TV and is confronted with Shane and Tulips going at it on the table. It's a great bit of timing when he turns it off

I agree - Aceveda's clearly knowing he's out of his depth here and the strangeness of him in uniform and is going along with the teasing. I think it adds a nice bit of warmth and humour to the character which otherwise risked going down the "slimy ambitious career politician" stereotype (which he did do a bit in the
