Yes. When you think about it, it wouldn't have made sense for him to do that, and would have left a very bad taste in the mouth dramatically speaking - but that part was surely deliberately unsettling.

It's be great if it was published in 2019 and called Sixty, Clumsy, and Shy.

So was this a reference to something other than an awkward Simpsons pre-cog?

They're a shadow of their former selves now but Hail to England and Battle Hymns especially are genuine metal classics, and I'll happily take them up to Triumph of Steel or thereabouts.

Love the new album too. Saw them live a few times in the last couple of years. The first time, I wasn't prepared for how incredible they were live. Utterly joyous atmosphere too.

It was my introduction to thrash, as it happens. Being into anarchopunk at the time, I loved austere sound, and the sternness and seriousness of it. I still love the album, though they're meaningless to me after that.

Death are death metal, not thrash

HARSH

Easily their best yet I reckon

Then fuck Everyone!

Then fuck Everyone!

If you're into the likes of underground metal, drone, noise, or psych today, you're listening to tapes.Despite being way too old and cranky to qualify as a hipster douche, I run a small cassette label and really like the format, which sounds great if you have a half-decent deck and don't treat the tapes like shit.

I think AYP is decent, just three songs too long. LOW is indeed wretched, and Trans is awesome.

The new Dylan was an immaculately pressed double vinyl with a copy of the CD thrown in, for about half the price I paid for the vinyl of Le Noise. I think he's a little out of touch with the level of quality that's available.
