We Hate Movies has much better actual movie discussion but I still prefer The Flophouse.

Haven't checked but I think so - I can't remember the last time it wasn't in the best category.

That article is ridiculous. There are excellent movies on their alternative list, but when you are including A League Of Their Own among them you are supporting Tobias' tweet regarding an "institutional bias against women directors" (which Slate quotes).

Fight Club is one of those movies that I love but would never state as a favourite because of the numerous assholes I have met that proclaim it as theirs.

Yeah, I'm not someone that pays much attention to lyrics, so when I realised what the song was about I wasn't sure what to think. I have no problem with artists exploring their darker instincts through music, but I have to ask how many people recognise this as a persona/character and how many just don't care, or worse…
I would bet everything I own on the fact that you are the only person to hold that opinion. I was pleased that somebody brought attention to Levine sucking the fun out of a comedy show. That it was Paul F. Tompkins to bring it up was even better as he managed to perfectly express genuine annoyance whilst remaining…
My main problem with internships is that they're basically a legal filter for ensuring certain fields are dominated by the upper and middle classes. I'm a recent graduate and can't really afford to work 3 months plus for nothing and the areas I want to work are close to impossible to enter without an internship for…
It was. Kremer was especially great because PFT was willing to engage with his absurd questions instead of just laughing them off.
Didn't Daly's German character do two episodes? He was definitely suicidal - he planned to set fire to himself on the Hollywood sign.
Leggero's standup is pretty good from what I've seen of her, but she's still too much of a newcomer to be judging other comics. I understand the producers wanting a female judge but someone more experienced like Maria Bamford or Jen Kirkman would make more sense.
surprising to hear the budget's been cut - I thought this season looked much more polished than the last.
