My kid is 8, and the bands we currently agree on are The Beatles, Sparks, and Super Furry Animals. He likes a lot of crap songs like Ghostbusters, The Final Countdown, and Doctorin' the Tardis too.  There is really no way to keep kids from the top 40/radio Disney stuff, they hear it at school or at friend's houses.…
