Somehow I doubt that. She's already fucking Tywin. They're sticking pretty close to the book in Kings Landing.

Think about that scene, she's NEVER acted like that with him before now. It's always been "business first". When he's the hand and she's sneaking into his chambers the first place her hands to is to his

That could be true if he hadn't given his word to Lord Walder. Ned would have certainly kept his word and married the Frey. He even went so far into the traditional "my word is my bond" family honor stuff as to honor his dead brother's marriage pact with Hoster Tully to end up with Catelyn. He was in love with another

Yeah, I'd been working under the assumption they were in Denmark. That way they can sail east or west to raid and IIRC the Danes were the first to arrive and raid Monasteries before the full scale Viking invasions got really going.

You are right in that the story is told from an upper-class perspective, but that's why Arya's misery tourism is interesting in the books. There isn't much about the small-folk so her story is all we really get.

Once he goes left handed and sees "new Cerci" he really does turn the ship around and become likable. Can't say the same for some other characters who are far more jerktacular than Jaime.

Isn't he put on the KG as soon as the Marriage is announced?

All the issues of Cat not loving Jon due to his bastard birth and all the other family drama that accompanied growing up with a B-Boy in the house is how I always read Rob's Frey betrayal. That could still be true in TV land; though that's not effectively played out on screen since they turned it more into a romance

Maybe they just don't like showing the horrible casting of having a little blond Lannister boy running about. Sticks out like a clubbed toe whenever he pops up.
Hopefully now that the Reeds have shown up he can be shipped off with Osha as is befitting.

They never explicitly say the year, but it doesn't take a master detective to figure out from the dropped hints that it's Christmas 1967 to New Years 1968.

Yeah, that's been pointed out already… Forgot about the girl flashback he remembers in the bowels of the dreadfort. I was just initially spooked that they'd let him get away or something without giving me the well deserved Theon Duchebaggins torture porn and psychological dismemberment.

I'm just bitter because they wrecked my favorite character so they could find time to stick some more boobies on screen with the creation of Roz.
Everything else is in a direct response to Todd's article. :p

I'll have to have a look… books 4 and 5 are really hard to keep straight. Filled with a bit too much Mire-reen and slow boat rides. Plus the huge mistake of the way they were split contextually rather than chronologically. Had I known that going into it I would have a giant re-wind to the end of book 3 I would have

I'm going to rant a bit here… enter at your own peril.

Agree with the article but not the grade. I give it a C.
"what the fuck?" tourism is a fantastic line, I'd been trying to find a way to frame what I saw last night and that is perfect.

I read it as he's not a cop so he has no interest in the phones; and buying him a meal in exchange for information seems reasonable.

First watchable Community episode of the season… then they ruin it with the stupid puppet beat-box at the end. wtf!

eh… I really wish people would stop giving Kristen Schaal work.

lol, my wife said exactly the same thing.

Completely agree. I live in Buffalo so I know snow… and the only time the visual atmosphere pulled me out of the scene was when they were at the back door outside EROC. The green screen background didn't fit well at all; but that's just a quibble as the rest of the sets, lighting, and screen presentation have been top

This show is a comedy, and this episode was funny. It gets an A from me.
Serial plot lines and deep characters are for dramas.
