I can't be eloquent at all in talking about that because of my genetic makeup but that's an excellent point. The scene at the end risked being telegraphed after the Michelle and Sasha hug scene in the "first" episode, but instead it seemed like a very natural progression to me. The dance number blew me away.

Richard Grieco played Bugsy. Mandylor was Frank Costello. Respect the Dennis Booker.

I still believe in him.

The climax of Over the Edge was phenomenal. I loved the idea of the kids commandeering the PA system. Also, the only thing I think about when I hear the song "Ooh Child" is the finale when a couple of the kids get on the bus for juvie.

If Charles Pierce didn't occasionally write for Grantland, I would never go there.

Thanks Tecumseh, I completely missed that WKRP piece.

FYI, if you happen to live in Upstate NY Dobie Gillis is on everyday on the MeTV affiliate out of Syracuse. Pretty trippy. Think it's for digital cable subscribers only.

Well said. I thought the hug was exceptionally powerful as well as Michelle's "Hey kid." Very happy this show is back on the air.

Dios mio Man.

I was 12 years old when I saw it in the theater with my older brother. The Zelda scenes remain, to this day, the most unsettling I've seen on the big screen. Fucking horrifying.

Not sure, but 6 is definitely a sequel to 5.

I second horatio leafblower's call for a public inquiry into the lack of Silence of the Lambs on the proper list and the follow-up article. To quote the great dead man from New York, "You are entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts."
