KEXP.org is doing an "Intergalactic David Bowie Day" today, in honor of the BlackStar release and Bowie's 69th birthday. Bowie originals, b-sides, covers, and bands influenced by Bowie.

Matt Mira and Graham Elwood were great, but Joe Pettis' constant stoned giggling made the whole thing almost un-listenable.

I actually saw the Banana Splits live, doing an in-store appearance at a local Burger place in California.  I must have been about 6 or 7.
