Mo Minniefield!

Mo Minniefield!

always a little business to take care of…

this office was better than that community. not saying either was great. Just finsished watching the first dundies. The whole conceit was a sitcom turned inside out, it's startling to see to what degree they've tried to turn it out-side in.

is it me or is britta sometimes just shy of cross-eyed?

this. bottom line is it's just incredibly listenable. I got in to him through his guest spots on petros and money which were always great. He is brilliant in a certain way. I can understand why people might be dismissive, I probably would have been. Now I'm even coming around on some of his more rightish political

My favorite show right now. And everyone who kept saying 'yeah it's getting better, started slow, a few bad episodes etc etc etc' uh, no. It's been gold from day 1 and every episode has been gold. Funny characters saying funny shit in funny ways. That's all that matters.

I thought peter saying whatever it was about m-m-m-cconahay was the cutaway.

good call. It's one of the first endearing moments I can remember from him. This show is kindof depressing lately. It's nice to see people find happinesses and catharsises and be affected in meaningful ways by the world around them and it just doesn't happen anymore. Robert's presence lends a sense of foreboding gloom

I thought the reuse of the premise of the earlier cold open with even more disastrous results was good. I'm glad they didn't call attention to the fact. I don't think they needed to, that was part of the funny.

dee's identical delivery on 'they'd be out of business in a week's time' tickled me pink.

Me too. there were so many great lines that seemed to come all the faster and furioser because of the urgent whispering.

So taco and kevin are brothers? that always throws me because for the first few episodes I couldn't tell taco and pete apart.

I thought it wasn't so much because she was a pretty sexy woman but because she was jewish, even initially, so when kyle was the one to take her out and she was going on about her dual citizenship it seemed confrimed.

dwight?

Pam felt more endearing than she has in quite a while with the singing in the beginning and the making nice at the end. I think they should make an effort to separate her and jim more. They've just become the generic office couple.

I sortof got the feeling that Robert did have a "now what's this about/inner eyeroll" reaction but maybe I was reading into things.

pretty much this

something about community tonight just felt so effortless, it wasn't necessarily the funniest, though it was funny, just that there were very few seams showing. parks was very good, it was just a little emo, which in general I don't mind, but it felt like a lot at once which gave it a sortof synthetic glaze to me. en
