I would argue that politics are intimately related to comedy. Especially sexual politics, since that's such a huge topic in comedy. Many, many, (most?), trusty comedy tropes are rooted in staid, conventional societal views. A show that embraces more progressive politics, by definition, will usually be doing something

I know I'm super late for this discussion (damn you, non-Plus Hulu!), but oh well.

The thing that impressed me the most about this episode were Rachel Berry's phone-sliding skills. When she shoved it away, I was 100% convinced her beautiful phone was going to go sailing off the opposite end of the table and the rest of the scene would be her and Kurt frantically performing phone CPR.

It's weird cause I kind of feel this way and I'm, like… 26. I didn't even grow up with Old Who, I only started watching it maybe a year before the new series began.
