I actually had a guy ask me this morning what time it was because his wife wasted the battery on his phone. When I said "10" he said "in the morning?" which was a bad sign… Then a seat emptied next to him, so I sat down and he started screaming at the place I used to be like his wife was there. And then started to

Not as awesome as people getting her name wrong!

A gay friend of mine was sitting in an emergency room recently as his cat was in for surgery and was really distressed… and then was subjected to an elderly woman and a guy complaining about two gay men kissing in a soap opera. It wasn't even personal which makes it less straight-up offensive than your or Cameron's

The only reason I've ever written a negative comment on a Cameron Esposito article is that they're pretty good (in fact, this might my favorite of hers) and it got me excited for her stand-up. But when I finally saw her stand-up I thought it was really bad and now I feel betrayed.

Haven't seen much from Ramon Rosanas, but that reminds me a lot of Phil Hester's work… especially Green Arrow. Seems fun.

Sure. That's fine.

He literally starts off with "Lots of talk about snipers this weekend". I don't think he's minimizing the relationship to Chris Kyle, he's minimizing his comments in regards to American Sniper. The film (which is at least partially anti-war) is different than the act of "sniping". I mean everything I've seen

I don't think Michael Moore did actually dodge it though. He only mentioned MLK (on his birthday) to say "if you don't think snipers are cowards, think about how MLK was assassinated". He never dialed back his comments about snipers in wartime.

Even as a kid I kind of always wanted an alternate cut where they did think of J. Edgar Hoover.

More like Lucy Listless!

WHERE WAS EVERYONE ON THIS THREAD WHEN GENEVIEVE WAS BEING PERSECUTED!?

Yea, I mean… the cast of 40 Year-Old Virgin is so perfect that it's already unoriginal:
Paul Rudd as the romantic lead and sarcastic guy who's just along for the ride
Steve Carrell as the overly enthusiastic, nerdy goofball
Romany Malco as the incredulous black guy
and Seth Rogen as Harold Ramis (they've even played

I think they mean "coverage" as in, one of the takes might be unusable and they dont' realize until too late. So "coverage" still is applicable, just in specifically defined terms.

Yea, I have the opposite opinion of this than the article. Virtually everyone had at least SOME inkling it was a put-on, and most people thought it was fake (just look at the O'Neal articles at the time). I'm disappointed by that though, because it would have been so much better if the media had played along a

Well it's not opposite day since clearly I'm in the minority, but everyone I'd talked to in previous years in real life agreed the 2nd Pirates was the worst one.

Oh, the Gunganity!

Wait when did this happen? I thought everyone agreed the second one was the worst. Pirates 2 doesn't tell a complete story, it has that god awful "captured by natives" sequence, doesn't have the pirate king committee scene, and it misses the kind of fun absurdist sequence where Depp's in the afterlife.

Haha, I was obviously just messing. But no joke, that's my favorite movie of all time.
But yea, Blade 3 is the shitty one. Despite starring Patton Oswalt, Parker Posey, James Remar, Eric Bogosian, and the insult "cock-juggling thundercunt"
