I don't think Michael Moore did actually dodge it though. He only mentioned MLK (on his birthday) to say "if you don't think snipers are cowards, think about how MLK was assassinated". He never dialed back his comments about snipers in wartime.

Pirates 2 doesn't tell a complete story, it has that god awful "captured by natives" sequence, doesn't have the pirate king committee scene, and it misses the kind of fun absurdist sequence where Depp's in the afterlife.
