@The Other Bob: Postal Service wasn't completely "no good", but given the experimental adventurousness of "Life is Full of Possibilities" by Dntel, The Postal Service was a let down.

This was a good year for so many artists that didn't make it on the list here: Viktor Vaughn, Four Tet, Broken Social Scene, The Shins, Prefuse 73, Manitoba, The Books….but not Postal Service. Kinda liked Dntel from a couple of years before that, though.

The chase ended the exact moment the song ended, and at the end of this tunnel was a massive city that unfolded while "Night Life" began. It was my Pink Floyd/Wizard of Oz…
