I finally got the new Kylesa.  Sadly it's not doing a lot for me.  I think "Spiral Shadow" was poppier or something.  Maybe it just had more melody in the vocals.  "Ultraviolet" feels like a lot of shouting over one riff.  The Ocean's "Pelagial" is making me happy, though.  And I've been revisiting Red Fang's "Murder

I think my favorite riff from The Movie is just Mike making fun of how Rex Reason says "Ruth."

"Emotions are for ethnic people."

I'll always have a soft spot for Mika as the inspiration for one of the great moments in Colbert Report history:

Man, where is the Kickstarter for that shit.  I would be all over it.

That would actually work great for the proposed Last Boy Scout sequel mentioned above.  Crossover anyone?

I'm sure after audience testing they'll change it to The Boy Scout That Preceded the Previous Boy Scout (In That Old Movie, Remember?).

The Thin Red Line is my favorite of his as well, probably followed by The New World, though I should say I haven't seen To The Wonder.

I just feel bad for the writers that they've apparently never had Montreal steak spice on their steak.  It's a thing of beauty.

Now I want to see a remake of Four Lions with the Chick-Fil-A cows.

MITCHELL!

They have one on 42nd Street outside the Port Authority now too.  Of course, that was already tourist central.

I'll be at charges for a looking glass…

Nothing against the man, by any means.

True story: Dr. Jacques Bailey was my Latin professor in college.  He actually tried to convince me to take Greek.  I stuck with my English degree instead.

Bah, now you're just repeating yourself.  Don't tell me you've run out of YouTube comments from a7x fans!

Yeah, parentheses or an em-dash both work.  Generally speaking, though, if you find yourself wanting to express those ideas, you should consider making it two complete statements, or better yet, a statement with a dependent clause.  So either:

I was glad for the stinger, because the whole song, all I was thinking was "those are not appropriate uses of a semicolon!  WTF!"

I used to work for a company that made ringtones for Warner Music Group.  We did ringtones for almost every song on that album I think.  I heard the same little snippets blasting out of tinny speakers in super-compressed form dozens if not hundreds of times.
