Following the heavy film-watching schedule during the Film Festival, things settled down and I actually did some work on assignments and whatnot.

I thought that was only what he did in the later years - when they banned smoking in the writers room.

My one would be the final polish and out-of-town tryouts for Follies. Not that I think it is Sondheim's best musical (though it is second behind Sweeney Todd in my mind), but the unique combination of personalities that were working on the show would be fascinating to watch.

I always find it weird when translations for Italian and Spanish-language films, as I used to be able to speak both with reasonable fluency, play around with the syntax for no particular reason.

I couldn't find the race-walking on TV, but I really wanted to watch it, just to see if it was ridiculous as it was in that Malcolm in the Middle episode. Did you find the canoe racing a bit weird (not the kayaking, but the one where they are on bended knee)?

My favourites (from the 2 seasons I've seen so far) are "Walking Distance" and "The Eye of the Beholder."

I think that Alphas can be pretty funny on ocassion, though it is largely involving Gary and not exactly the status quo for the show.
