That's exactly what makes the montage so hilarious - it's completely ridiculous, especially in the context of a multi-camera sitcom.

On the movie front I watched The Dark Knight Rises, Last Year at Marienbad and Run Lola Run. The Dark Knight Rises was alright, but I had problems with Bane's voice, the whole prison thing (did it ever occur to anybody that the rope was just weighing them down instead of having a symbolic meaning?) and No Man's Land…

After reading your comment, I went and checked how many of the films on that list I had seen. I'd seen 193, so congrats on making it to 200 before me.

That was a great punchline, though I wasn't such a big fan of Frasier in the car, as it was the prissy Frasier characterisation that annoys me a bit. Later season Frasier does seem to have more Seinfeldian elements (Roz giving Frasier sexual comment cards etc..)

I was also surprised by the quality of the Black Dynamite animated series. Some great jokes in there, though the structure left a bit to be desired.

On the movie front I watched Time Bandits, The Wizard of Oz, and Fiddler on the Roof. Time Bandits was really quite fun, and I especially liked the scene with Napoleon, but the overall story felt a bit half-baked. The visuals were really stunning, as they are in any Gilliam film, and I thought the score did a good job…

I don't really listen to pop/rock/modern music in general, so it's going to be a list of classical, jazz and musicals for me.

Are you sure there aren't any Simpsons episodes running? When I lived in Italy for a couple of years, there was never a week that I couldn't watch the Simpsons.

I just watched the two-parter in which Daphne finds out about Niles' feelings last night. I could definitely see the show getting worse with them together, as Niles' unrequited love is a solid runner which has driven some of the best episodes of the last two or three seasons.
