This show would be better if they flashed *back* 100 years to the time when Golden Boy was killed by Lady Mary's vagina.

I refuse to pay for the wiffy!
I tried to think of some counter-examples with the woman in the dominant role and…I got nothin'.
Super-fun series. I like the way they've incorporated the format into the actual story, with different characters finding out about Lizzie's vlogs at different times, and that affecting their interactions. A few weeks back, Gigi Darcy (who hadn't even been introduced yet and only existed on Twitter) found the videos…
Yeah, the transmedia stuff is really awesome, if you've got the time (I don't, but somehow still find myself checking fictional characters' twitters regularly). And now we even have a Gigi Darcy/Pemberly Digital spinoff vlog.
Better than the second, worse than the first. The Series 2 Christmas Special was definitely better than this one though. Also, Fellowes still hasn't learned how to make Bates interesting.
Okay.
Okay.
Ah, thank you. I shall now cease getting mildly irked at it not showing up in any best-of lists.

Why aren't we talking about Enlightened? Probably the least funny, most interesting half-hour show on TV. I love it.

I wish Martin Housely had been able to work an impression into his emceeing. I bet he does a mean Christian Becksvoort.

Andrea Anders was also terrible on that show (but was amazingly hilarious on Better Off Ted) because the writing for hers and Punch's characters was fairly atrocious. I really liked the show, but the writing staff seemed to have a handle on only about half of the characters, even at the end of the season.

Seriously. That scene in his bedroom was so well-acted. And weirdly serious for the middle of a sitcom episode. It was kind of amazing.
