The whole Apartheid issue was the reason why they changed Glomgold's country of origin. In the comics he was from South Africa but Ducktales changed it to Scotland to match Scrooge.

That joke with Gaston got a genuine laugh out of me. Probably won't see this one (I barely go to the movies these days) but I wouldn't look down on anyone who's excited for it.

Emily's response to this question (on twitter as I recall) was pretty straight forward. She said she's not an actress and that having an experienced actress playing the role would be the best thing for the film. Didn't sound like they really considered her for the part.

Also Emily started writing on the Carmichael Show. Miss the podcast but I'm happy for both of their success.

Yeah. That accent was more Brando than DeNiro.

Here's the clip of Jensen rapping as a 12 year old as mentioned in the article. It's magnificent:

Not sure if we can post links in the comments but I saw this post on Stephen Falk's instagram and I think it's safe to say that the YTW writers' room is the best:

Well the invitation probably came after Horrible Bosses. I doubt Charlie Day and Jennifer Aniston would've known of each other's existence without the movie.

I only know her from the Totally Laime Podcast but she seems really cool (The episodes that also feature Artemis Pebdani are the best). She's got a dry but very wicked sense of humor. I remember a funny story that she told:

I looked at the headline and then the grade and thought, "Well that's got to be an Ignatiy review".

The Palm Beach Story is one of my favorite screwball comedies. Or movies period. The way it skewers romantic comedy hijinks in the first 5 minutes is still applicable to this day.

I've heard of this league on various podcasts (who charted, totally laime) but apparently almost the entire league is made up of women from the LA comedy scene. There's 12 teams in the league and maybe 3 of them are comprised of serious basketball players that played in college and the rest are made up of women from

Not just the team but almost the whole league is made up of women from the LA comedy scene. I heard about it on various podcasts but apparently there's 12 teams in the league and maybe 3 of them have serious basketball players who played in college or whatnot and then 9 that are made up of women from the UCB and the

My favorite moment from this season was Emma doing the "Monster Mash" tap dance. What I wouldn't give to see a full version of that.

I was kind of rooting for the sister and Godfrey to get together. I thought they had some sexual chemistry going. Which is more than I can say for Lombard's puppy-love filled character.

My Man Godfrey is great and all but if you want to highlight a screwball comedy with "movie characters operating under false identities", I would have gone for The Lady Eve. My favorite Sturges film, out of like 5-6 stone cold classics.

It was my favorite too growing up (along with Cheers). In the late 80's/early 90's I was literally watching 11 episodes of Night Court a week and couldn't get enough (2 syndicated eps every weekday and then the current run on NBC Thursday).

Hey it could happen. Sarah Palin went from being elected to the Wasilla City Council in 1992 to a vice presidential candidate in 2008.
