Not so sure. Brad has his place, just as Ashley does. Don't most shows have these gags, that they trot out to good effect from time to time? Only a political motive suggests something 'has' to be done with Brad. He's not at all essential to Sue's growth and won't be a catalyst for any meaningful change she goes

“You love each other, remember?” And they do, of course.

Interesting question. Is it worthwhile for most students to bring a laptop to class, as in, do most students type quickly enough to make it worthwhile to type their notes as they listen to an instructor? Also, most people I know who don't have a background in stenography are better with shorthand when they use a pen

I credit about 95% of that to the actress. The Middle's taken a wrong turn by making Axl a bully to the point of abusiveness, and by having Charlie McDermott bellow most of his lines with little emphasis on individual words. Ugh.

Somehow billions of us took notes with pen (or stylus) and paper and got by. Granted, it would have made converting class notes to study notes a bit easier, but it's not a big deal either way.

Given that you misspelled "learn," I'm not at all sure how to take your post.

Especially the first half of season one is rather different from what came after. Worth seeing, in my opinion.

Aren't Kindle-like devices free for downloading these days?

True, but their backyard is pretty awesome. It's huge, has a decent-sized deck, a pool, and is surrounded by highstanding shrubs and trees.

The writers take an unfortunate turn with Axl's far too juvenile hysteria over Sue going out with Darrin. It's going to go on and on, and it plays to Charlie McDermott's many weaknesses as an actor, including his almost inevitable shouting of any lines requiring him to express emotion.

So, you believe all of psychology, psychiatry, and counseling is just a scam?

Which is something that has been done in real life.
