Ethan didn't show up again after his sole appearance in season 4, right? Damn. I guess actor availability was the issue, because why the hell else wouldn't Ethan have shown up in the last 3 seasons of Buffy, or in any season of Angel?

So what's the deal with Tina Weymouth? I'll put my cards on the table here and say that while I love Talking Heads and have all their albums (except the Byrne-less one), to date I don't have anything other than a basic knowledge of their history. So I don't know the reason for the apparent bad blood between Weymouth…

I like Ebert's review of the film. And Danny Peary's too.
I've seen Byrne live, in Perth, Western Australia in 2005 and 2009. Damn, he knows how to put on a show. One of the most energetic stage presences I've ever seen.
Seems like there's some sort of disagreement among the Floyd as to whether or not a decent film of the original Wall concerts exists. I'd like to think that an entire show was filmed in good quality, but the line seems to be that only a few songs were filmed. Or that the whole show was filmed, but in substandard…
Almost seems like David Byrne was David Lynch before David Lynch was David Lynch.
Yeah, the stuff directed by Peter Grimwade, Matthew Robinson, and Graeme Harper stands out against the fare of journeymen like, say, Peter Moffatt.
Here's how Pete could have improved this part of his book:
Should've called it "And the Asshole Saw the Angel."
How long before Pete Wentz is playing Rum Tum Tugger in the second national touring of "Cats"?
It almost seems like the Razzies people are aware of how utterly daft their selections in the past seem now, so these days they go for movies that they know are never going to be revered as classics in the future.
Davison was one story short of providing commentaries for his entire run. He didn't rock up for "The Awakening." :(
I love this story to pieces, but when I re-watched it recently, I had to ask myself this question:
Jiminy Jillikers, Jiminy Jillikers, Jiminy Jillikers!

Yeah, what would the "Alien" franchise have been like without Walter Hill (and David Giler)'s uncredited contributions to the screenplay of the first film? Would there have even BEEN a franchise? I think if Dan O'Bannon's original script was filmed, "Alien" would have been an interesting little film…and that's it.…
