HENNIMORRRRRRE!!!!!!
…and during WWII, Peter Wyngarde was interned in the Langhua Civilian Assembly Centre, the same camp J.G. Ballard was in. Ballard mentions this in his memoirs. Although that factoid doesn't have anything to do with the X-Men.
"Teresa Palmer"??
Maybe it was "The Partridge Family in 2200 A.D." that fucked Danny Bonaduce up.
RotLD is the movie that made me realise how awesome Clu Gulager is. (Prior to seeing that film for the first time, I'd only known him has the hard-ass dad in "A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2").
Out of this film's many virtues, one I'd like to mention is how awesomely it treats its middle-aged cast. The adult characters in most other youth-oriented trashy horror films of that era tend to be bland non-entities or one-note assholes, but in RotLD, Clu Gulager, James Karen, and Don Calfa are vital to the story…
"Spies Like Us" was supposed to end with the world getting nuked, but test audiences didn't like it.
I like his song "Down in the Park."
Donald Pleasence's greatest role was providing the voice-over for this infamous UK public information advert in 1973:

The DVD subtitles during Stallone's monologue in "First Blood" should have been "????????????????????"
"Fucking Australia Day" is right. About the most patriotic thing I've done on 26 January was watching the Ozploitation classic "Turkey Shoot."
"Long Weekend" has one of the most awesome yet simultaneously demoralising endings ever.
I think Tarantino oversold some of the Ozploitation films he talked about in "Not Quite Hollywood." I love that he loves Aussie movies, but "Next of Kin" and "Dead End Drive-In" ain't that good. "Long Weekend," "Turkey Shoot," and "Fair Game" are terrific though.
When "Wake in Fright" got its theatrical re-release in Oz a couple of years ago, the flyers had "THE BEST AND MOST TERRIFYING FILM ABOUT AUSTRALIA IN EXISTENCE" - NICK CAVE plastered on them.
Stacy Keach drove from Melbourne to Perth in "Road Games." But he had to deal with a serial killer on the way.
Hey, I went to Murdoch too! Haven't been back there in a while though. That place still got dead rabbits strewn round the place?
Ann Coulter looks like the evil backwoods hag from "Pumpkinhead."
"When was the last time Barbara Streisand cleaned out your garage? And when it's time to do the dishes, where's Ray Bolger? I'll tell ya! RAY BOLGER is looking out for RAY BOLGER!!!"
"EAT THE COOKIE!!!"
And the fax machine is nothing but a waffle iron with a phone attached.
