At the risk of revealing myself to be someone who at the very best enjoys wasting time, I went back and looked at every team that has won the Amazing Race and their respective finish position after each leg. Based upon the numbers, last night's winners, Josh & Brent, have the worst average finish position (4.6) of any

While I generally agree that season 2 at times showed signs of improvement, this finale was pretty awful. While Kim has by far played the best game of the remaining contestants, I think her path to dominating the game was made considerably easier by her competition. With the exception of the season with Stephanie and the "tribe of one," it's hard to envision a more blundering tribe of incompetents than the initial men's

Rosie: Hey, I'm taking the ferry in the middle of the night after returning a book to my teacher who is married to a former student. I'll be at the casino later, but don't worry, the son of that guy daddy killed is giving me a ride.

For some reason when Jamie telephoned Gwen to ask about Darren's morning routine and she replied that Richmond (paraphrase) "usually fumbled around drawers in his bedroom," I thought she'd cap off the observation (amid the show's omnipresent cloying waterworks) with "you know, sifting through drawers, looking through
